In 1985 rheinländisch artist Joseph Beuys created the "Capri-Batterie", a multiple in 200 copies. One of them can be seen at the K21 in Düsseldorf. He did a lot of works concerning energy and he used different materials, which in his terms were "energy-rich materials", like fat, honey or felt. But in this case he used a lemon as "source" of energy. With a lemon, a zinc and a copper-pole, they can make a buzzer start of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2deC3m0MNY And finaly here's Hank explaining in very fast talking what it's all about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhbuhT1GDpI Now, Mr. Beuys, did you know that???
